Hours For Art Interview with Akila McConnell

Today is the last day to pledge your hours for art! No money involved, just committing your time to your own creative practice. Everything you need to know about pledging is here (and if it isn’t, just email me!).

Everyone who pledges is invited to a free follow-up call with me next week.

Our last telethon guest is Akila McConnell, a former lawyer turned writer, now travelling the world with her husband Patrick and their dogs. Akila was in North Carolina when I interviewed her. As an aspiring globe-trotter myself, I was really interested to hear how she made time on the road to finish a novel.

12:40 ~ Committing to novel-writing and travelling as a lifestyle

15:20 ~ The artistry of food

Now there’s a woman who has designed a blissful life for herself. Thanks to Akila for joining us and do check out her websites, www.theroadforks.com and the newest addition, www.theroadunleashed.com.
