Do you long to spend more time creating?

Maybe your studio is a laptop in the spare bedroom, a sketchbook at the kitchen table, or a perch at the local coffee shop.

Whatever your workspace, you ACHE to spend time there. With day job, family, and other demands (not to mention your own doubts and anxiety) it's hard to carve out time for creating.

But when you don't, you get discouraged, irritable, and depressed. And the world misses out on your great stuff!

I can coach you back to work.

BACK TO THE STUDIO coaching program

I offer telephone coaching (two 40-minute sessions) for $195 a month. I ask for a minimum three-month commitment so we can make real progress.

You start with:

  • Measurable goals for improving your life as a writer or artist
  • A clear-eyed look at the obstacles holding you back

You end up with:

  • A plan for getting to your studio regularly
  • Strategies to overcome resistance and anxiety
  • A track record of creative work that you can build on

Email me for a free 30-minute coaching session to try it out.

About me

I know writing. I started sixteen years ago. I earned an MA in Creative Writing. I've published many things. I've spoken at writing conferences and I belong to an active critique group.

I also know coaching. I've gotten myself through depression and writer's block. I've trained with Dr. Eric Maisel, "widely regarded as America's foremost creativity coach." I've worked with writers, artists, and musicians to help them build a healthy creative practice.

Words from my clients

"Alison was a great help to me when I was trying to get my online art gallery off the ground. Thanks to her encouragement and insight, I was able to see the places I was sticking and find a way around them to finally launch the site. In addition, she helped me find the time and energy to get back into my studio and finish up some projects that had been languishing. I really got a lot out of the time she spent working with me!"
